Grainline studio "FELIX" + Self-drafted

I quite like Felix.

This time I try to make it formal.

I made lots of alternations (whole sleeves, armhole, V-neck depth, plus chest darts  )

However in the end, I couldn't finish it as what I exactly wanted.

First, I should have moved the bottom of the V neck higher. I moved the bottom up by 3cm.(proper Felix center front is a wrapped type)

But it was not enough because the fabric I used is a very drapey crepe. So it cannont hold a proper opening shape. (I found this useful page about V-neck block fusing) As You can see in the photo below, I need to wear an inner tank under the dress.    

Also in this case, I had a problem about color. 

This design + this beige color + me, do not go well together. 

 it makes me look dull and not stylish. I had better have picked Black or other strong tone colors.

Anyway this time, I failed to make what I pursued. 

 However I learned lots such as design and color combination, and what is important to make V neck.
